Tucked
behind Knightsbridge and off the mighty Lowndes Square
lies another of London's hidden mews of 'dolls houses'.
Our little house lies at the inner end so enjoys a feeling
of seclusion, despite the fact that the main drag of Knightsbridge
is a mere stone's throw away. The gates into Hyde Park
are also just a two minute walk.
The
accommodation is arranged on three floors. On the ground
floor a tiny lobby opens in to an elegant open-plan living-room
with formal dining-area, opening into a well-appointed,
good-sized kitchen which has a dishwasher, microwave,
'fridge-freezer and more.
From
the living-room a wooden spiral staircase leads down to
a television/rumpus room in which is also a small kitchenette-cum-laundry
area, housing the washing machine.
Beyond
this room is a queen double bedroom with ensuite bathroom,
having a shower, washbasin and toilet. The bedroom is
small but well furnished and has a glass bricks window
which affords some daylight from above.
Upstairs
on the first floor (above ground floor level) are two
more bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom, with
kingsize bed and with two windows overlooking the mews,
has great closets and its own bathroom with bathtub and
overhead shower, washbasin and toilet.
Across
the tiny landing is a door to another suite. This time
the bedroom (also with window on front) is a generous
sized single room with its own smart bathroom (no overhead
shower here).
