Bishops Mansions is located on Stevenage Road, which leads off Fulham Palace Road.  It is a quiet residential and leafy tree lined street overlooking Bishops Park and borders the river Thames, the park has a wonderful children’s playground as well as attractive walks and a cafe. This flat is at the bottom of the road, on the first floor, overlooking the park.  It is convenient for access to the shops and restaurants of Parsons Green/Fulham Road as well as the riverside.  Regular buses travel along Fulham Palace Road/Fulham Road (a few minutes walk from the flat) to Knightsbridge and the West End and Putney Bridge tube station (District Line) is a 10 minute walk either along Fulham Palace Road or through the park.

This is a very well presented four bedroom flat which is large, airy and extremely comfortable offering ideal accommodation. On the first floor (no lift) the front door opens on to a long hallway with doors to the main rooms opening off it. The sitting room is a handsome room with windows on two walls overlooking the park with two sofas, two arm chairs,  desk with WiFi router, FreeView Digital TV, stereo and a coal-effect gas-fire. On the park side the windows open on to a balcony, so this is an especially lovely room in summer.

The formal dining room is elegantly furnished with a fine antique-style table and chairs for eight people. At the other end of the hallway is a good family-sized kitchen which is very well appointed with a table and chairs for four people, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and electric oven.  The washer dryer is cleverly placed on the balcony off the kitchen to save space.

Off the kitchen is a bathroom with a shower cubicle with powerful shower, toilet, and a washbasin and a well furnished single bedroom.

Off the hallway are the other bedrooms which comprise one pretty double room with queen bed, good built-in wardrobe space and a chest of drawers, another double bedroom with a standard size double bed and a built in wardrobe and a further pretty single bedroom. Close by, but not en suite with any bedroom, is the main bathroom with bath, hand held shower and washbasin, and a second separate toilet with small washbasin.

Overall, Bishops Mansions is a very attractive and relaxing place to stay in a very popular residential part of London.
