This beautiful house in Chelsea is situated in the quiet, tree-lined oasis of Margaretta Terrace, which is just a minute’s walk from the bustling, smart end of the Kings Road. Numerous shops, restaurants and food supermarkets are all close by, and Sloane Square and South Kensington tube stations are just over half a mile.
Our lovely house is positioned at the corner of this attractive street and at the front has a paved garden with shrubs and terracotta pots. Through the black and white tiled entrance hallway there is an office-cum-study with large desk, telephone and fax. Through double doors you enter the very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Glass French doors open into a conservatory style dining room with a table seating eight people. The wrought iron chandelier hanging from the ceiling adds candle-lit charm to any dinner. This room overlooks a small, square, shrubbery planted patio with a pond and decorative fountain in the centre. Off this room is a small self-contained studio flat with a 4ft sofa-bed, bookshelves, T.V. and video. Its kitchenette has a two-ring cooker hob and a oven. The built in bathroom has just shower, basin and loo.
Upstairs on a half landing is a single bedroom with its own T.V. It has an en suite bathroom with just a shower cubicle, basin and loo. Up another half landing to the first floor you reach the spacious, light and very comfortable living room with its pair of sofas and other easy chairs. The T.V. includes Sky channels. This room overlooks the front of the house and has windows opening on to a small, planted, ornamental balcony.
Up to the next half landing is a bedroom with a standard (4’6”) double bed, and next door is the en suite bathroom with its half-sized specially commissioned bath and hand shower. Up the final half landing to the second floor and the attractive and light master bedroom with its king sized bed. The pair of large windows overlook the garden to the front.
